UGH WHAT ARE THESE? I went out to kill caterpillars tonight in the garden and found these bugs. Are they good bugs? Or bad bugs?

My friend Melanie, from this blog asked me to partner with her in a project to rebuild the original Downtown Womens Center in DTLA, not far from where I live. Local designers and architects were asked to volunteer their time and expertise and all furnishings, etc. have to be donated, there is no money for anything.
Melanie and I were assigned the second floor living room and are in desperate need of donations. We have had some furniture donated already through Melanie’s architect connections, and I am building a bunch of seating and shelves and tables (which will be detailed here all through the process). So we have some stuff covered, but there’s a lot more to do.
