All you need is this:

I hate stuff that is specially made for gardens. It always looks so, I dunno, garden-y. Grandmother-ish, you know? I looked online for some modern garden markers and found an overload of twee bullshit. UGH. I recently planted some herbs and veggies and wanted something minimal to mark the spot. Not some antique spoons stamped with MARJORAM on them for 30 bucks.

I went to MoskateI’s for inspiration and found these Woodsies for only $3.29. BOOM. All you have to do is write what you planted on them and stick ‘em in the garden. The Sharpie won’t rinse off with watering. Also a bonus, when you’re done with them, they are compostable.

Understated, yes?

They do look a bit like tiny headstones when surrounded just by dirt, which is kinda apropos for me, because I am a very beginning gardener and have killed some shit lately. RIP, Pink Brandywine tomatoes!
